NRSWA re-assessment course is specifically designed as an invigilated examination-only course, adhering to the requirements set by the Highway Authorities and Utilities Committee (HAUC). Once this is completed the candidates Street Works card will be renewed for a full 5 years.

Room & Facilities Hire
We have several training rooms and training facilities that can be hired for your own use. You must adhere to our health and safety policy and must also have appropriate insurances in place. For access to practical training areas you need to demonstrate that your trainer/assessor holds the relevant certificates of competency.

SA001 Overhead Safety 3-Day Course This qualification covers three modules: Overhead Safety, Pole checking and Joint user Poles. It provides learners with the knowledge and skills to make them aware of the hazards and potential risks involved in working safely on ladders and wooden poles in a telecommunications environment.

SA007 Asbestos Awareness
This accreditation provides learners with an essential foundation in relevant matters of asbestos awareness. It is suitable for candidates who already work in the construction or utilities industries or candidates looking to work in construction or the utilities.
SA011 Locate and Clear Blockages
This accreditation assesses a learner’s ability to work effectively in a construction utility environment. Learners will be able to demonstrate safe methods for locating and clearing blockages in the telecoms utility pipe networks when working on utilities infrastructure.
SA015 Duct Laying
The purpose of this accreditation is to provide learners with the necessary information to understand and demonstrate the requirements for duct laying and slewing in the telecoms utility pipe networks
SA016 Core Drilling
This course covers core drilling into telecommunications jointing chambers in accordance with industry standards.
